Mangos

Mango season is here! And we have been enjoying delicious mangos on a daily basis.

The other night, we were walking home from campus and noticed so many mangos just lying on the ground, waiting for somebody to enjoy. So we hunted around and found the best ones. The kiddos loved it. Jack had a ball finding the "mamos"! He was so excited to help.

"Mamos... Mamos... Mommy, mamos!"

And this sweet boy had just as much fun too. He enjoyed throwing them up in the trees like dad trying to knock down other mangos.... but he mostly loved nailing Daddy with the mushy mangos. Broc came out with a good mango stain on his back. Crew was proud!

This boy... this cute sweet boy! Oh I could devour him! He is at the best age.
So exicted about everything! The funny new words he says just melt me.

They would hunt and find a hard mangos so Daddy could throw it up in the trees... in an attempt to knock other mangos down!

"millions of mangos, mangos for me... millions of mangos, mangos for free!"
We seriously left with our stroller over flowing with golden delicious goodness.

I seriously can't get enough of these gems! So yummy!

Ah, mangoes! I've been getting a box every week from Costco. Certainly, they can't compare to the ones from Dominica. Your boys are so cute. I can't believe how big Jack is! Wow. I love his hair, all grown in!

Ahhh!!! So many wonderful memories! The first house we lived in with our children in Thailand had about 8 mango trees. Some were the kind that you eat green & they are slightly sour but mostly sweet. The other trees were the kind that you eat ripe like the orange ones. Oh my Heaven!! We loved them so much! Every day was Mango day! You will miss them when you come back. We buy them at Costco too. They are quite a bit the same as the flavor of the ones in Thailand, but not exact. The only thing we don't miss about having mango trees.....are the fire ants that inhabit the trees. They are vicious. : )

I loved the pictures of your gorgeous little boys! Love & miss them so so much!!

Crystal, I work as a nurse with Shelly Onofrio who referred me to your blog! My husband is applying for SGU and possibly Ross this year, I have had such anxiety! I have read plenty of negative reports, as always available on the internet. I have to say I was so thrilled to see your blog and a positive outlook on Carribean med school life-especially with two kids.. You have no idea what this did to my perspective!! Thanks for sharing your experiences, your family is darling! I'll be coming to back to your blog in the future I'm sure. Thanks for providing some nightshift entertainment, as well as a whole new mindset! Good luck to you guys!
