Eating Out in Dominica: HOPE

 In my opinion HOPE is the best Chinese place around these parts here in Dominica. Though I am partial to my own sweet and sour chicken, it is just nice sometimes to take the night off once in a while. We met up with our friends Paul and Kristen and ate at HOPE the other night.

These guys are my FAVORITE! It completely makes my day when I see them driving around town! Aren't these scooters the best?!!!

They were so nice to let the boys pretend to drive the scooters!

They were in pure heaven! 

As we waited for our food they brought us out some dates and some candied orange fruit. They weren't sure what the name of it was. It was pretty good.

They showed the boys how to work the zappers. Now this is something I wish that I would have purchased when we first got here. These little tennis raquets are amazing. Seriously you just bat the bugs and they die on contact!

Delicious noodle salad! A staple for us here at HOPE!

Pan fried dumplings with a sauce that nobody got to enjoy because Jack spit his chewed up chicken in it. 

Hot spicy sizzling beef

Sweet and sour chicken. Again, I prefer my homemade stuff to any Chinese place, but this has been the best sweet and sour chicken that we have tried from a restaurant here.
