We had a baby shower for Broc's sister Chelsey on Saturday! For some reason I have been wanting to make little crafts all the time these days. I found a couple of things online that I wanted to attempt and add my own little touch to! Once I got started I was almost addicted, little girl stuff is so much fun! I wasn't sure how they were all going to turn out but I was pretty happy with the finished product!

I love throwing parties and I see a ton of ideas that I want to try. So I attempted these onesie sugar cookies! After calling every place in the SLC valley, I could not find a onesie cookie cutter anywhere. So I ended up ordering one online, paying the express shipping to ensure that I had it in time! Well it came a week prior to the shower! Perfect... until I went to find the box that it came in, and discovered that Broc had accidently thrown the box with the cookie cutter away, thinking it was just an empty box! Let's just say I was sick wondering what I was going to do. So Friday morning (the day before the shower) I am scrambling trying to find a onesie cookie cutter. I know I could have done something different but I got it in my head that this is what I wanted to do and I wasn't going to settle. I ended up calling Michaels and they had one! Yeah! When I went to pick it up the lady said that these were a new item and they had just put it on the shelves the day before! How lucky is that!? I still liked the one I had ordered online better. It was bigger with more detail on it but oh well this is how they turned out!
The finished product! I had them all bagged up and tied with three colors of ribbon: green, light pink and hot pink! I am so sad I didn't get a picture of all of them in the basket.

Saturday was also Grandma Jan's birthday so we went Iggy's Sports Grill to celebrate! Here she is getting a birthday song and ice cream! Happy Birthday Grandma Jan! We love you!

This is us at the restaurant after our all-nighter! Yep, I do have the greatest husband- he totally stayed up all night helping me get things ready for the shower. Can you believe that? Thanks so much babe! I couldn't have done it without you!- Seriously! And I guess you redeemed yourself for throwing away the cookie cutter! ha ha:)

Wow, you did such a great job! Those take home tees are so adorable. I also love the hot pink and black. I have a car seat cover in that exact white/black print and the back side is hot pink with black dots.
Looks like the shower couldn't have been better. I wish we could be closer to enjoy the time with everyone. Maybe someday!?

Oh Crys!! I'm so so impressed, but hardly surprised! You have always just done everything 100%! Beautiful job on everything, & very darling ideas! I guess I need to hurry & get pregnant with our next little girl! The patience you have to pipe all those cookies is something that I only dream about. Did I know you had a sewing machine?
