Professional Pictures...

So we had our first professional family pics taken last night! Kind of sad that Crew is almost 19 months and we are just getting around to our first family picture. So I don't know why I had been stressing about what everyone should wear, how I should do my makeup etc... The day before pictures Crew starts out with a runny nose. I knew it... it was that kid in nursery with the green goopy nose! And of course he would fall the day of pictures and hit his head, right?! I must have jinxed myself (or Crew poor thing) because I was so scared that he would fall/ or scratch his face. Luckily he didn't hit it too hard so it wasn't super red. I felt if that is the worst of it, that is fine. We end up being late to meet Brooke (the cute girl who took our pics) because I left Crew's shirt in the dryer. So we had to turn around and go back home to get it on top of commuter traffic. Brooke told us to bring NERDS candy for Crew because sometimes it helps them be happy during the shoot. I don't know why but we could not find NERDS anywhere, so we settled for Tic Tacs. Despite now 2 set backs, we arrive to our destination 20 minutes late. We got maybe one minute into the shoot and Crew began to throw the biggest tantrum ever. Any of you who know Crew, know that he is a pretty mild natured baby. He LOVES (or should we say LOVED) getting his picture taken. He would always do his funny picture face. Absolutely no funny picture face that day! Not even a smile, not even a sober face! It was all mad/crying/tantrum face... the whole time! Well what can you do, he is 18 months old? Luckily Brooke caught one smiling face of the family picture. No matter what silly/mad face crew is doing it will be cute- 1-because he is still the cutest kid in the world (even with a mad/sad face) and 2- because Brooke is so talented.
