Not a day over 29!
So this is my second attempt at fondant. I don't know why I am so obsessed with making cakes. It didn't turn out quite like the picture... oh well.
This is my cute mom! Happy "29th" Birthday!
Any of you who know my mom, know that she loves to dance! She has the cutest personality! This is her whipping out the birthday dance! I absolutely love it!

So it was my Mom's birthday August 15. We had a fun little party in the backyard and it gave me an opportunity to practice my cake making skills.
I am so grateful for the amazing example she has been to me in my life! She has so many great qualities! You can tell from the pics what a funny lady she is! We were like roomates growing up and I am so grateful for those special memories we had together. She always had a way of making me smile or laugh. Whether it was her made up songs trying to get me out of bed in the morning or me coming home from school catching her with my dance shoes on busting her moves on the kitchen floor (thinking nobody was around)! She is an incredible example to everyone. I have multiple memories of going into her room at night and find her on her knees praying. I am so grateful I was blessed to have such a great mom! Thank you mom for everything you are! I love you so much!

Hey Crys, What a fun cake you did. You are quite the Mrs. Wilton these days. Mom's party looks like it was alot of fun. I'm so sad that we weren't there too! Hey don't worry about my blog. Updates are coming, I promise. Life has just been so busy trying to get unpacked, put away (yes, I still have piles on the pool table waiting to all be put away from when we came home), trying to get a new school schedule & curriculum going, laundry, etc. It just all takes so much time, & I keep putting off all the time that blogging takes.
