All of our walls are cinderblock, which makes it very difficult to hang anything. I brought some pictures with us to decorate, knowing we would be limited with decor. After a few unsuccessful attempts at double sided tape, a great neighbor who gave me a few of her 3M hooks, and some inspiration from my dryer...
Crew had a random shelf (with out a shelf) in his room. So we utilized the same idea and displayed some of his artwork as well!
I know it is not the most classy, but it works and I have pictures on my walls. And by the way, don't you love the seafoam green color everywhere?!! :)

I actually do like the green. I prob wouldn't pick it out but...on a tropical island that's the cool thing to do:)
I love the pictures hanging. It looks awesome. Great idea!
NICE! I think it looks super great! WE have to hang our clothes to dry too...blast isn't it?!?!
Love the idea!!! Way to work with what you got :)
Yes... I love the sea-foam green walls, the string & wooden clothes pins holding your precious family pics and Crew's artwork, the tropical lovin'... and YOU!!!
Looks so cute! I love that way of hanging pictures. And I'm jealous that you are in the tropics and I am in gray poopie weather:) love ya
Not classy, who cares. I think you are onto something there. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it as a new trend. I love it and think it would work out well if only their was enough sun in my area to make my inner space bright and cheery like yours.
